ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
RELIGIOUS
SCHOOL NEWS
The Religious School at Adat Shalom seeks to instill a love of   Judaism in our students.  Our goal is to help our students to acquire the framework needed to help them grow as informed and committed Jews, and to begin to cherish their Jewish heritage.  The skills they learn will enable them to practice Judaism in their own home, in school, and in the community. We strive to strengthen our students’ faith in God, love of Torah, and identification with the Jewish people and their culture.  We offer opportunities for personal growth, as well as community experiences.

At Adat Shalom, we offer a learning atmosphere that embraces the student, and encourages the expression of  ideas in an accepting environment.  Students are encouraged to ask questions, and to seek answers, as they learn about their heritage.  We work toward creating young Jewish students who are caring and respectful of others, of our environment, and especially to those in need.

Our religious school program is staffed by committed Jews who value the education of the next generation, and hope to guide students as they learn.  Each of our teachers is a
positive role model for our students.

Through our course of study, we focus on Mitzvot, Tzedakah, Klal Yisrael, Prayer, the Hebrew language, Israel, History, Holidays, Life  Cycles, and Parent Education Programs.
